Fr. Jeff Lorig has been ordained a priest for 13 years in the Archdiocese of Omaha. He has served as an assistant pastor at Norfolk Sacred Heart, St. Elizabeth Anne in Omaha, and St. Patrick's in O'Neill. At St. Patrick's he spent much of his time working and teaching at St. Mary's School. For 5 years he served as pastor at St. Ludger in Creighton and St. Ignatius in Brunswick. Currently, Fr. Lorig works for the Archdiocese of Omaha as the Director of Pastoral Services, a newly created position to help implement the Archbishop’s Pastoral Vision.

His journey towards the priesthood started when he was a junior in high school at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point. After high school graduation he went on to St. John Vianney Seminary and received degrees in Philosophy and Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Fr. Lorig then went on to study Theology at the Gregorian University in Rome and eventually earned a Masters Degree in Spirituality at the Angelicum also in Rome.  In 2013 he received a certificate of training in spiritual direction with the Institute for Priestly Formation (IPF) and has been on IPF staff of spiritual directors for the seminarian summer program.
