Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) - Individuals who have been mandated by the Archdiocese of Omaha or their former dioceses are invited to become an EMHC at the parish. For new EMHCs the formal training session is held by the Archdiocese twice a year in the fall and spring. High School students who are juniors or seniors are welcome to become an EMHC.
Lector - Parish training is held for individuals interested in serving as a lector. Those who have been mandated by the Archdiocese of Omaha or their former dioceses are invited to become a lector at the parish. For new lectors, the formal training session is held by the archdiocese twice a year in the fall and spring. High school students who are juniors or seniors are welcome to become a lector.
Liturgy Board - This board consists primarily of representatives from the committees that contribute to prayer and worship. The focus is to guide and direct the coordination and implementation of meaningful worship. Meetings are usually held on the first Saturday of the month (9:00 - 10:30 a.m.).
Funeral Ministry Team - Adult parishioners provide ministry support for funeral Masses and wakes in one of the three areas: 1) EMHC, 2) Lector,
Children's Liturgy of the Word (C.L.O.W.T.) - A team of people prepare the presentation and reflection of the Sunday readings for the children in a separate space. Persons are needed to serve as lectors and assist with the presentations, processions and singing. All materials and training are provided.
Hospitality: Greeters -Members of the hospitality ministry serve as greeters for our weekend Masses.
Usher - Members also help to seat people, gather the collection and assist in other liturgical needs during and after the Masses.
Ministry of the Light - Votives and Pew Clean up- This group of parishioners rotate times to replace and maintain the votive candles at the Shrines on a daily basis. Other volunteers tidy up the pews after the Masses.
