We have had a great response to our new Men's faith formation group--over 100 men are coming on Saturday mornings to learn, pray, and discuss their faith with each other! Men are STILL invited to attend That Man Is You. Join the guys Saturday, Sept. 11 (they are not meeting this weekend)! TMIY meets weekly, 6:30-8am on Saturdays in Hanneman Hall. Mothers in Fellowship begins Tuesday, September 14! We welcome all moms on Tuesday mornings from 9:15-10:30am in the Family Room for prayer, friendship, and inspirational speakers/discussion. Childcare is available. Come join us for brunch and information about the upcoming semester. Recommended donation for the fall semester is a one-time fee of $30 (to cover all childcare and speaker costs). ACTS of the Apostles Study: Thursday mornings, 9-11am, starting NEXT WEEK, September 9. If you like action-packed stories, the Book of Acts is for you! A key to understanding the rest of the New Testament, Acts of the Apostles reveals the adventures of the earliest Christians and shows the Church, enlivened by the Holy Spirit, teaching, preaching, and healing in the same way that Jesus did on earth. Women's Evening Bible Study!
"The Book of Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy"
Join other women in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials. Study runs for 12 weeks & cost is $20 for workbook/materials. Monday nights, starting September 13, 7-8:30pm in the Family Room. EPIC Church History Study
Do you know your family history? The history of the Church is the storuy of our family. Knowing this story is curcial to our identity as Catholics. Join us for this exciting journey through Church history and you will:

- Discover the revolutionary character of the Protestant Reformation.

of Reflection on St. Vincent de Paul for Adults & Children
Monday, September 27 (St. Vincent's feast day). 6:30pm we invite people to gather in the church for prayer at the shrines of St. Vincent & St. Louise de Marillac. 7-8pm: Adults will enjoy a talk by Anne Severes, Director of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Omaha, on "St. Vincent: Five Simple Steps to Sainthood." Children can meet in the gym for prayer & activites on our saint. Childcare will be available for kids under 3 via rsvp.
- Morning Retreat: "Praying with St. Vincent & St. Louise"
Thursday, Sept 30, 9-11am in Family Room. Adults are invited to join us for a
mini-retreat on the friendship, wisdom, & spirituality of our great patron
saints-St. Vincent de Paul & St. Louise de Marillac. Coffee & rolls
will be served. Limited childcare available (rsvp needed). Registration needed

COMMUNITY FORMATION OPPORTUNITIES
Sickness, Health and Healing: Lessons from Scripture. This six week bible study will provide scripturally based insight into the meaning of sickness, health, and healthcare in our lives as Christians. The study will be supportive, encouraging and helpful for all but is especially relevant for those who are ill or have experienced illness, their caregivers and healthcare providers. Sessions begin on Tuesday, Sept.7 and continue through Oct. 12. Each evening runs from 6:30pm-8:30pm and will be located in the
On Saturday, September 18, 2010, a one-day retreat titled, Living with a Mary Heart in a Martha World, presented by Sister Kathleen Courtney, OSB, will take place at St. Benedict Center, 4 mi. N. of Schuyler, NE from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program fee is $ 30. Lunch is available at the Center for $ 8.18 (includes tax), or you may bring your own sack lunch. Please register by calling Saint Benedict Center (402) 352-8819. Both Mary and Martha in the New Testament show us something of ourselves. Like Mary, we long to sit at the Lord's feet, but the daily demands of a busy world just won't leave us alone. Like Martha, we love Jesus and really want to serve him.
