Adult Formation - Leadership Opportunities

Adult Formation Committee: This is an advisory group of men and women who work closely with the Adult Formation Director to create programs and implement ideas for the ongoing faith formation of parishioners.  Areas of focus are on Scripture studies, Catholic teaching, prayer, moral formation, marriage and parenting enrichment, and evangelization.  Opportunities for leading/facilitating programs exist.  The AFC meets every 4-6 weeks.

Adult Catechetical Leader/Small Faith Sharing Group Leader:  Teach catechetical topics and guide adults in integrating theology with lived experience of the Catholic faith.  Facilitators should have knowledge of the fundamentals of the Catholic faith and have good skills in communication.

Parish Family Resource Library: Help keep the library organized by shelving books and helping Adult Formation Director promote books to parishioners (by subject content).

Mothers in Fellowship Facilitator: Serve as a leader for ministry to mothers. Meets weekly during the school year.  Organize speakers and topics for meetings.

Bible Study Facilitator: Morning & Evening studies available.  Using a resource, the facilitator guides conversations and serves as a resource for scriptural discussions/questions.

Catholics Returning Home Team: Welcome people back to the Catholic Church through facilitating a short-term program that provides a warm environment for people to discuss their questions with the Church.

Marriage & Family Life Ministry: Help Adult Formation Director create or facilitate marriage enrichment programs and parenting formation sessions.

Young Adult Ministry Team: A ministry to Catholic men and women who are in their 20’s and 30’s.  Group meets bi-monthly with Adult Formation Director to assist in planning and leading events/programs for young adults.

Retreats/Days of Reflection: An opportunity to share your gifts of creativity and spirituality by helping Adult Formation Director develop parish retreats and days/evenings of reflection.

Family Rosary:  Volunteers needed to help organize and lead monthly/bi-monthly family rosaries.
