RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process by which men and women enter the Catholic Church. You are paired with a Catholic sponsor (from St. Vincent de Paul or you can designate your own) to help guide you along the way, and preparation for entering the Church is in the form of weekly classes with other candidates and sponsors. Classes run on an annual basis and begin the second week of September in 2009, culminating with entry into the Catholic Church the night before Easter in 2010.
