How do I become Catholic?

For those who are interested in becoming Catholic,  St .Vincent de Paul offers the experience of RCIA.   That is, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.  This program is led by a team of parish members who are dedicated to sharing and teaching the Catholic Faith!    Not only will you learn the essentials of our faith, but you will also enter in to an experience of community and prayer!  RCIA goes from Fall until slightly after the Easter Vigil.   Those wishing to enter the Catholic Church will do so at the Easter Vigil (night before Easter) Mass.

If you would like more information on joining the Catholic Church through RCIA, please contact the parish office at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or call 402.496.7988, ext. 232.

For school aged children we have a separate program. To inquire about CIC, Christian Initiation of Children, please contact Jennifer McMahan  in the Religious Formation office at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  or 402.493-1642.
