This annual collection provides school supplies to children in need who attend Omaha area schools.
Each Christmas, parishioners sign up to provide food, clothing and Christmas gifts to families and veterans through the Catholic Charities Women’s Shelter, Juan Diego Center and the Veterans Home.
In honor of the feast day of Saint Vincent de Paul, the Outreach Committee coordinates an annual parish-wide service project.
Parishioners and friends gather in fellowship to sew, knit, crochet, quilt, etc. and many of the items are given to charities. This group meets on the 3rd Monday of the month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the St. Vincent Room.
The Respect Life Committee celebrates Epiphany by becoming a “modern-day magi”. Baby and maternity gifts are collected the weekend of Epiphany, January 6th & 7th to lie at the nativity of Christ.

St. Vincent de Paul has been a member of the Carpenter’s Crew Coalition since 2010. The coalition is made up of 12 churches and Temple Israel which pool their resources to build a house selected by Habitat.
St. Vincent de Paul parish is a member of this Archdiocesan group that provides support, mission education and outreach to the country of Guatemala.
On the second Sunday of each month volunteers are needed to help distribute grocery bags to parishioners following Masses. Food donations help to stock pantries at the Heart Ministry Center, Juan Diego Center, Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
On the third Sunday of each month nonperishable food items are collected for local food pantries. Volunteers are needed on the third Sunday at noon to load vehicles, deliver the food, and help to stock the shelves at three Omaha pantries.

The parish provides a meal for the women and children at the Women's Shelter every Sunday at 5pm. Volunteer cooks prepare part of the meal at home and deliver it to the server.
