Our Patron

St. Vincent de Paul is named after a cleric who lived between 1580 and 1660 in France. St. Vincent dedicated his life to the service of the poor by organizing groups of lay people for charitable work and a society of priests who trained the clergy and did missionary work in rural areas. Today, his name is synonymous with Catholic charity throughout the world. The Archbishop of Omaha chose this name for our parish because of the strong presence in our Archdiocese of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
