Adult Faith Formation is an opportunity to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus Christ and to continue learning about the richness of the Catholic faith.
Discover a variety of programs to help you grow in knowledge and understanding of your own personal call to holiness and mission as a disciple of Christ. Through formation programs offered at SVdP, we hope you will be empowered to live your Catholic faith in the world and share Christ with everyone you encounter.

Alpha is a series of welcoming, interactive sessions designed to explore the core beliefs of the Christianity. Each session includes hospitality, a presentation on a key topic and guided small-group discussion.
Our Adult Studies programs are designed to support lifelong learning in the Catholic faith. Our parish offers a variety of group studies that focus on deepening parishioners’ knowledge of Scripture, the Creed, Sacraments and Evangelization to strengthen each participant’s own personal mission of holiness in the world.
Formation Events offer parishioners opportunities to grow in faith through monthly events, special talks, workshops, retreats and seasonal gatherings. These events are designed to help you deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ, live out your call as a disciple and connect you with others in our faith community.
We recognize that ongoing learning about our faith is part of our call as disciples of Christ. SVdP offers a variety of recommendations including books, online resources, etc. that you can choose to study and grow at your own pace individually, with your own small group or with your family. These are meant to grow your knowledge of Catholic Spirituality and inspire your own holiness.
