St. Vincent de Paul Parish offers many ways to support the mission of the Church, including automated ACH withdrawals, flexible online giving, traditional giving envelopes, and more. Parishioners may also contribute through the annual St. Vincent Fund, donate appreciated securities, or include the parish in their long-term financial or estate plans through planned giving.
Automatic withdrawal is a very simple, cost-efficient method, also known as ACH. You provide your bank information to our Parish Accountant along with the amount you would like withdrawn, and they will set it up to automatically be withdrawn from your bank account. The withdrawal occurs on the 16th of every month. This method only allows for Sacrificial Giving donations.
Our Online Giving Program allows parishioners to customize their giving based on their interests. You can set up regular occurring gifts for Sacrificial Giving, Holidays, Special Collections, Outreach Ministries and others. Through online giving you can use checking or savings accounts, and credit or debit cards. You can set up one-time gifts or reoccurring gifts, with contributions being made on any day of the month. Gift days, amounts and schedules can be changed at any time. Simply create an account and manage your giving profile however you choose.
The St. Vincent Fund is our parish’s annual appeal that supports critical needs beyond daily operations. Each year, the St. Vincent Fund generates a reserve of financial resources dedicated to capital improvements, upkeep of the parish building and campus and growing our maintenance reserves and parish endowment.
Every parish family is invited to be a part of the St. Vincent Fund. Gifts or pledges of any amount are greatly appreciated! You can donate via a pledge card or through the Online Giving Program by simply selecting “2026 St. Vincent Fund” from the drop-down menu. This is the traditional way to make tithing donations to St. Vincent de Paul. When a parishioner registers with the parish, they are automatically put on the Sacrificial Giving Envelope mailing list.
Donating shares of appreciated securities to St. Vincent de Paul Parish could possibly allow you to avoid the short- or long-term capital gain tax liability you would be responsible for when you sell those securities. You may benefit from a tax-advantaged donation at the appreciated value, with no tax liability on the gains. While there are clear benefits associated with this strategy, we strongly suggest that you consult a tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
