Love and service are the best ingredients in a donated meal. Parishioners are welcome to receive support or help by donating and providing meals to those in need.
Helping Hands Meals
Helping Hands is a ministry of volunteers who provide meals to parishioners for two weeks. Parishioners may be in need of meals for various reasons, such as:
- They are suffering from a physical ailment, emotional or mental stress.
- They may live alone and are recuperating from a hospitalization.
- A caregiver who is having a difficult time caring for their loved one may need some meals.
- A family who just had a baby may appreciate meals as they adjust to caring for their infant.
Contact Nicole Florez at florezn@svdpomaha.org if you or someone you know in the parish is in need of Helping Hands or if you would like to become a meal provider.

Volunteers who are available during the daytime hours help with preparation, serving and/or clean-up to serve our grieving families. There are also opportunities for drop-off items if daytime hours do not work. If you are interested in volunteering as a server, meal and dessert provider, coordinator, meal and drink assistant, please contact, Nicole Florez at florezn@svdpomaha.org.
