Our parish leadership committees play an important role in guiding and supporting the mission of SVdP. Through prayer, discernment, and collaboration, committee members work together with clergy to shape parish life, ensure responsible stewardship of our resources and help our parish grow in faith, community and outreach.
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is a policy-forming board which advises the Pastor. The Council consists of nine members. Parishioners may apply for membership. The Pastoral Council meets the fourth Tuesday of the month.
Liturgy Board
The Liturgy Board assists the Pastor with the planning and presentation of every liturgical celebration within the parish so that these liturgies are a source of spiritual strength, inspiration and hope. Liturgy Board members also create processes and conduct numerous trainings for the many liturgical ministries.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee serves as an advisory committee for the Pastor on matters of budgeting and expenses. The committee also works closely with the Parish Accountant and Pastoral Council. Members are appointed by the Pastor. The Finance Committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month.
Endowment Committee
The Endowment Committee oversees, builds and promotes the parish endowment funds. The committee meets once per year to oversee, build and promote the Educational Endowment and the Parish Endowment and the disbursement of its assets. Members are appointed by the Pastor.
