The Maintenance Ministry is an opportunity to serve our parish through stewardship of our shared spaces. By helping maintain and improve parish facilities, volunteers support the ministries, programs, and gatherings that take place at SVdP.
Worship & Environment
Are you interested in making our church an inviting, joyful and prayerful place to worship? This committee has the responsibility of planning, arranging and preparing the liturgical setting to reflect the seasonal calendar. Candles & Pew Volunteers
Help create a welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant experience for our parishioners and visitors in our church. This group of parishioners is responsible for replacing and maintaining the votive candles and/or cleaning up the pews after the Masses. Sacristy Laundry Care
Cleanse your heart as a volunteer who launders finger towels, purificators and corporals used during Mass. This group of volunteers washes and presses our precious linens each week. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kathy Mayer at mayerk@svdpomaha.org.
Heavenly Dusters
This group of volunteers is responsible for cleaning the church on a weekly basis. This is done in teams with each team responsible for one cleaning per month. Cleaning takes approximately one and half to two hours. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Margo Meehan at meehan@centurylink.net or 402.679.5521.
Grounds & Upkeep
Volunteers help to ensure the grounds look welcoming and well-maintained. Opportunities are available in the following areas:

- Mowing Team
