Gathered around the altar, we encounter Christ in Word and Sacrament. The beauty of our liturgy is strengthened by the faithful participation of our parish family, who generously serve in a variety of liturgical ministries.
Whether you feel called to serve during worship or through acts of care and hospitality, there is a place for everyone to participate and make a difference in the life of our parish. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Kathy Mayer, Director of Worship, at mayerk@svdpomaha.org.
Altar servers help ensure that our liturgies are celebrated with reverence, dignity and prayerfulness.
Lectors participate in the Mass in a meaningful way by proclaiming the Word of God to the congregation.
EMHCs assist the clergy with the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood during Mass.
Those who serve in Music Ministry offer their musical gifts in service to the Church, helping lift hearts and minds to God through song.
Gift Bearers play an active role in the celebration of the Mass by bringing forward the gifts of bread and wine during the Preparation of the Gifts.
Members of the hospitality team serve as greeters for our weekend Masses, special events, and services.
