St. Vincent de Paul is a vibrant Roman Catholic parish serving the growing community of Northwest Omaha. We strive to live out Christ’s mission together.
Our vision reflects our shared hope for the future and guides how we grow, serve, and walk together in faith.
We accompany each other on the journey of life. We are committed to spend time together in fellowship, reaching out to people and inviting them to walk with us.
We open our hearts to encounter Jesus through each other and on our life journey. We experience a deeper awareness of God’s saving love and endless mercy leading us to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus.
We desire to explore, learn, share, and discover more about Jesus and His church. We are nourished by deepening personal prayer, reading Scripture and celebrating the Mass.
We share our faith and invite others to come to know Jesus. We proclaim the Gospel through our words and actions to build up the kingdom of God.

St. Vincent de Paul Parish is named after a priest who lived between 1580 and 1660 in France. St. Vincent dedicated his life to the service of the poor by organizing groups of lay people for charitable work and a society of priests who trained the clergy and did missionary work in rural areas. Today, his name is synonymous with Catholic charity throughout the world.
Fr. Vincent and Sr. Louise de Marillac worked together in assisting the poor and neglected children in Paris in the mid-1600s. Sr. Louise, under the guidance of Fr. Vincent, organized the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul (although he preferred to call them Daughters of Charity). Saint Louise, and her partner in service, Saint Vincent, invite us to share their concern for people in need.
We prayerfully discern God’s call for our parish and steward the resources entrusted to us. Here you’ll find our guiding vision, annual reports, and more that reflect our commitment to transparency, faithful stewardship, and building a strong future for our parish community.
