Become a Volunteer

The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is to bring volunteers together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person services to the community’s most vulnerable neighbors in need, regardless of religion, race and ethnicity of age.

Our Society chapter consists of volunteers called Vincentians who minister to those in our area, parishioners and non-parishioners alike. They engage in person-to-person service in home visits to assess needs and provide resources related to food, rent, utilities, clothing and shelter.

The Society gathers monthly for prayer and planning. Two person teams meet periodically to conduct needs assessments. If you are interested in becoming a Vincentian, please contact Pastoral Minister, Nicole Florez at florezn@svdpomaha.org or 402-496-7988 for more information.
