Coping with the death of a loved one can be a long and painful process. There is no right or wrong way to grieve - each person experiences grief differently - but there are resources to help you navigate this difficult road.
At St. Vincent de Paul, we offer:
Bereavement Companions - have a parish family member to journey with you through the first year of grief. You will receive monthly messages, prayers, reflections, phone calls and cards.
Grieving with the Help of Your Catholic Faith - A SUPPORT GROUP to work from grief to joy.
The group will meet weekly for 6 weeks starting OCTOBER 9 - NOVEMBER 13th. from 6:30p-8:00p in the FAMILY ROOM. If you have experienced the death of a loved one and want to work through your grief, please contact Kay Buhrman at the Parish number 402 496-7988 x239.
Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Mt. 5:4).
