The Sacrament of Marriage is a sacred covenant, instituted by God, uniting a man and a woman for the entirety of their lives.
Through their marriage, they provide what is good for their relationship and open themselves to the procreation and education of children. This marriage bond is to help one another to attain holiness in their married life and forming their children in the Christian life.
At least one member of the couple wishing to be married at SVdP must be registered in the parish for three months prior to securing a wedding date or be registered under his or her parents who are current members of the parish.
