Divine Mercy Center and Pantry

In the spirit of our patron Saint Vincent de Paul, the mission of our pantry is to distribute food to those in need and to refer them to community organizations for social services. As a Catholic community called to live as disciples of Christ, our guiding principles are to:

  • Offer dignity and respect to those we serve
  • Provide choice of foods for selection

Vision Statement
Upholding the dignity of the human person in the image and likeness of God, we will grow in providing services to those in need within the Omaha metropolitan community.

Pantry Prayer

God, Our Father,
We pray that you will give the
clients we serve the courage and
humility to receive help.

We pray in thanksgiving for the
generous hearts of those who
support the pantry with food
and monetary donations.

We pray the pantry volunteers
who respond to God’s call will be
instruments of compassion.

May all involved in the pantry
ministry follow your will.
May we serve for your glory.
Jesus, we trust in you.
