Community Service Day

(September)
In honor of the feast day of Saint Vincent de Paul, the Outreach Committee coordinates an annual parish-wide service project.

Community Service Day:  Make and Take 2018
Make Personal Care Packs - Take Some to Share

The feast of St. Vincent de Paul is Sept 27th.  To honor his service to the poor, the outreach committee coordinates a parish service project. Come join us on Sunday, September 23rd after all morning Masses in Hanneman Hall to assemble personal care packs for those in need. Take some to keep in your car to share with those you encounter along the way. Care packs not taken will be donated to the Holy Family Door Mission.

You can also enjoy a donut while you are filling the packs and discover more about other Outreach service opportunities.

Participate by:

  • Donating small/travel size items for the care packs by Wednesday, Sept. 19.  Drop them off in the box in the Church gathering space.  The packs will include personal care items such as lotion, toothbrush, tissues, etc.  Go to https://tinyurl.com/SVDPComServe to select the items you wish to donate.
  • Taking part in assembling the packs after the 7:30, 9:00 or 10:45 am Masses on Sunday, Sept. 23.
