That Man is You! (TMIY) is a 26-week interactive men’s program open to men of all ages and life stages, combining the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of a man fully alive. This year’s program is titled The Revelation of the Father.
Program Objectives & Structure
During these sessions, we will:
- Identify the four leadership roles of men and the five traits essential to for authentic male leadership.
- Recognize Satan’s ongoing attack on true leadership and how Christ models perfect leadership, extending that calling to all men.
- Understand the three core orientations through which we encounter God, the three main spiritual temptations and how to overcome them.
- Establish a spiritual plan of life.

About TMIY
That Man Is You! is a program that tackles real issues facing real men. It looks at the leadership role that has been entrusted to men and addresses the temptations and struggles men face in the culture that attack authentic manhood. Finally, it helps formulate a plan that allows men to overcome these obstacles.
The program is hosted on Saturday mornings during the school year in the St. John Paul II Room on the lower level of the Parish Center. We gather at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast, coffee and some entertaining videos. Then there’s a presentation at 7 a.m. that combines the best scientific research with the teachings of the Church and wisdom of the saints. It’s followed at 7:30 a.m. with breakout groups that provide the opportunity to discuss what’s been presented. Finally, we are on the road by 8 a.m. so that we can be back home or available for Saturday morning Mass at 8:15 a.m. Held September through April, men are invited to join TMIY at any point in the year!
The best way to judge a program is by its success. Men who’ve attended the program and have been Catholic their whole lives say this is the program they’ve been waiting for. They consider it a ‘home run’ saying it is hard to imagine how the program content could get any better. Priests say that it literally transforms men and saves marriages. It’s that powerful. From a test parish in Houston, Texas the That Man is You! Program has quickly spread throughout the United States and Canada.
